Woods-N-Water™ Lodge cabin sleeps 12 (3 rooms of 4) hunters. However, we only book it for 10 if there are multiple groups in the cabin. Each bedroom has 2 bunk beds that are either twin over double or twin over twin. Due to concerns about COVID we are not putting multiple groups in the same bedroom. You’ll only room with those you are booked with.
There is also a small trailer (similar to a job site trailer) that sleeps only 2. It has a twin over double bunk bed, a three-piece bathroom and kitchenette. We use this mainly for couples. Hunters staying in the trailer are welcome to use the common areas of the main cabin.
The Lodge has 2 full baths, a living room with satellite TV, dining room, full kitchen and a laundry/locker area. It does not have a landline phone but does have Wi-Fi. We have limited cell reception on the property but we do have a cell booster in the cabin.
You are welcome to cook your meals at the cabin, it has a fully equipped kitchen and there is a charcoal and gas grill outside for you to use too. From the cabin to Wrightsville is only about 5 miles. Depending on the day of the week there are 5-6 restaurants to choose from. There is also a Piggly Wiggly, Dollar General, Family Dollar and 2 hardware stores if you need supplies.
As part of your hunt, you are welcome to fish in the pond at the cabin at no additional charge. There are trophy bass (catch and release only) as well as bream and catfish. There is also a walk in cooler that you can put your cooler in until you depart for home. We only allow deer in the cooler during deer season.
You’ll hunt various properties around the 4 county (Johnson, Jefferson, Washington & Laurens) area. The decision on where you’ll hunt will be decided by your guide in the days leading up to your arrival and is based on limitations of the hunter, weather and activity level.

Woods-N-Water™ Plantation is only booked for up to 8 deer hunters or 10 hog hunters. There is a 2 man, 4 man & 6 man room. All of the beds are twin over twin bunk beds except the 2 man. There is one restaurant in Irwinton as well as a small bakery and a Dollar General. Keep in mind that Wilkinson County is a dry county. If you want more than a common beer, you’ll want to purchase it on the way in or you’ll have to travel to another nearby town to purchase alcohol.
There is a small pond on the property. It’s stocked with catfish and hybrid bream. Hunters are also welcome to go to the Lodge to fish. It’s about a 45-minute drive thru the country. We have put a clay target thrower up at the Plantation if you want to bring some clays and shells you are welcome to shoot. This cabin has a hot tub for hunters to use too.
You’ll primarily hunt the 550 acres (Wilkinson County) that the cabin sits on for bucks but we have other tracks that are 20-25 minutes away that we can use too. This includes the new 2000-acre tract in Washington & Johnson County. The decision on where you’ll hunt will be decided by your guide in the days leading up to your arrival and is based on limitations of the hunter, weather and activity level.
